Hi everyone! I'm back from my hiatus and I have a bunch of new posts planned! I thought I'd start off my return to this blog with a quick update and some new books I've gotten!
As my Goodreads friends know, my goal for this year is to read 200 books and so far I've read 153 books. I'm 17 books behind schedule because of how busy school has been so I'm going to try to catch up, with these new books I've gotten.
So I recently went to my school library and it was AMAZING. It was the first time I'd been to a real library in what felt like so long so I was soo excited. I saw so many books I'd recognized from Goodreads and I was just all heart eyes and bouncing on my toes and reaching for books in every row. I asked the librarian how many books was the limit and she said there was no limit and to surprise her, so I went with that and picked up 7 books. I originally had more than 7, but I had to put some back because I couldn't carry so many to all my classes. I'll be back later to get the ones I put back though!
Ok...onto the books!!
Fantasy
The Sound of Stars and Winterwood were books from my TBR and Unravel the Dusk is the sequel to Spin the Dawn. I've started all three of these and it's going great!
Mystery
I'd already had Rules for Vanishing on my TBR so I got that, but I also ended up picking A Sudden Light because it seemed cool.
Graphic Novel
I picked up these two gorgeous graphic novels to try something new and I'm so glad I did. Mooncakes, I've heard of before, but Spinning was something I just spontaneously picked of the shelf. I've finished it and I'll be posting the review here soon!
