Hi bookish people! Welcome to my first Monthly Wrap-up Post!
Books I've Read
In total, I read 12 books this month which is less than I usually read per month because I was busier with tests and other things.
My favorite book of the month is.....Six of Crows!!! I just loved it so much and I added it to me all-time favorites shelf on Goodreads!
Blog Posts of the Month
My first two posts of May are reviews of Cinder and The Nowhere Girls.
These three posts are all new for me because I've never posted aesthetics on my blog and From Blood and Ash is the first book that I wrote rant for! What really surprised me is that my rant got 58 likes so far, which is more than any of my other reviews have gotten so far.
Legendary was such a good sequel to Caraval which is why I gave it five stars! They'll Never Catch Us was my only ARC for this month but it was enjoyable to read and I was really excited when I received it. My last blog post for this month was my review for These Violent Delights! What was different for this post is that I actually took this picture instead of just editing a picture of the cover on Canva like with my two other posts in this picture.
Total Number of Blog Posts this Month: 8
Review with most likes: My rant, of From Blood and Ash had the most likes! On Goodreads, the last I checked it had 58 likes.
Life Updates
My Summer holidays are starting soon!! I only have a few weeks left before the end of the school year and I can't wait!
I made progress on the YA fantasy novel I'm currently working on and now have written 85 pages and almost 30,000 words! It's honestly a bit crazy for me to believe that I'm come this far, because even though I have a lot left, I've never gotten this far on a novel before since I usually doubt myself and up trashing it before I get far. This novel feels different than all my others though, so I'm going to try to make this the one that I finally finish.
I started watching Shadow and Bone and I'm really enjoying it!! lol I'm a bit late to the "I watched Shadow and Bone club", but that's cause I watched the first episode then made myself stop and wait until I read Six of Crows first, but it was totally worth it!
Isn't this sticker of Kaz and Milo awesome?! Milo's definitely one of my favorite parts of the show so far 🐐💖
So that's my May 2021 Wrap-up! This is my first Wrap-up post, and I wasn't sure how it would go, but it was actually really fun to write!
